Reply of the General Office of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development on Approving Shanghai of Implementing the Pilot Trial of Higher Application Requirements for the Qualification Examination of the Registered Supervising Engineer

Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development:

Regarding the Request for Supporting the Implementation of Early and Pilot Trial in Shanghai to Optimize the Business Environment and to Improve the Points of Dealing with Construction Permits Indicator (H.J.J.G. [2019] No.216) was well received. After research, we approved Shanghai of implementing the pilot trial of higher application requirements for the qualification examination of the registered supervising engineer, which shall be effective starting from April 30, 2019, and last for 2 years. 

Please follow the major policies and plans made by the Party Central Committee and the State Council on further optimizing the business environment, be ambitious and realistic during the implementation. Please report to the Construction Market Supervision Division of the Ministry in time about the progress of the pilot trail.
